Criminal Law (including Regulatory prosecutions), Administrative Law (matters at first instance, on appeal and for judicial review), Personal Injuries (including  worker’s compensation), Tribunals and inquiries (including ICAC investigations), and, Mediation and Alternate Dispute Resolution.


Prior to coming to the law, Simon had gained over 15 years of experience in Financial Markets (Commodities and Futures) as a broker and trader particularly specialising in the Australian Electricity markets (both physical and derivative).

After completing his studies, Simon undertook a placement at the NSW Public Defenders Office obtaining a wide exposure to criminal matters and since then has focused on his area of law.

Simon has worked the Legal Aid NSW (in the Family and Criminal Law divisions), a suburban private practice specialising in criminal law and on relocating to Darwin worked for the Office of the Northern Territory DPP as a Prosecutor spending time in both Summary and Crown practice areas.

In March 2021, Simon was called to the Bar.
