Career

Tom graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from Charles Darwin University in 2010 and after completing his Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at Australian National University, Tom was admitted to the Supreme Court of the Northern Territory in December 2010.

Between July 2008 and August 2013, Tom worked for Ward Keller as a law clerk and law lawyer in the litigation division.

Between August 2013 to June 2021, Tom practiced as an Associate and later Director of Squire Patton Boggs (AU) practising in the International Dispute Resolution Group. During that time Tom gained extensive commercial dispute resolution experience across a broad range of practice areas including construction law, building and development disputes and general commercial litigation to negligence, disciplinary proceedings, administrative law, insolvency and debt recovery.

In July 2021, Tom was called to the Bar and practices as a barrister at William Forster Chambers.
