Career

Wade was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia in July 1994, having completed his legal studies at the University of Sydney.

Wade practiced as a solicitor in Sydney for some six years, before being called to New South Wales’ independent Bar.

In 2002, after graduating from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management with a Masters in Business Administration, Wade and his family relocated to the Territory where Wade took up employment as a commercial litigation Special Counsel with Clayton Utz.

Since 2002 Wade has practiced in the Territory with brief sojourns overseas to Vanuatu and New Zealand.

As a solicitor Wade practiced as a commercial litigator with a strong focus on Banking and Insolvency, Administrative, Company, Construction, Professional Indemnity, Employment and Trade Practices law.

Wade was called to the NT Bar in August 2009.

He is a member of the Law Society Disciplinary Tribunal.
